The Museum of the Ancient Ships in Pisa, in the Medici Arsenals (Lungarno Simonelli n.16), is divided into eight thematic areas, which logically recount the history of the city of Pisa from its origins to the Middle Ages and display the ships and their cargoes, consisting of amphorae, organic material, metals.
Guided tours on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays at 3pm and 5pm.
Tickets: Adults €8.00 — Children aged 6 to 12 €6.00 — Under 6s free.
Tickets can be purchased on the website or by arriving 10 minutes before the tour time.
The museum is open free of charge on the first Sunday of the month for “Sunday at the Museum”.
