Why travelling to the Terre di Pisa?

The heart of the “Terre di Pisa” is the famous city of Pisa, surrounded by a rich – though known to few – landscape characterized by gentle Tuscan hills, old towns and villages, as well as the sea, the low mountains, parks and nature reserves.

It has nothing to envy to the classic postcard image of Tuscany. Art, history, food and wine, crafts, nature and landscapes have been intertwined since the Etruscan times and show an unexpected Tuscany where true authenticity still survives.

Visiting the “Terre di Pisa” means rediscovering the pleasure of slowing down, living the Tuscan lifestyle and discovering the taste of wine, of food local products and traditional cuisine, in contact with true Tuscan people, direct and sometimes even rude, but always sincere.

It means living different kind of experiences in contact with protected nature, a well-preserved landscape and place where time seems to stand still. It is the same for traditions, which are jealously preserved in the many and varied events that proudly display the sense of belonging and identity with their own roots.

Local traditions also include food and wine products or handicrafts that follow traditional methods with an eye to innovation.

A Tuscany where you can move from the sea to the hills in complete relax and safety, alone or with your family. A place to visit at slow pace, enjoying a glass of wine and a bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil accompanied by pecorino cheese or Tuscan salami. Or you can even take a walk among the woods in search of the white truffle before finally enjoying a dip in the sea in summer or a thermal bath in winter.

A region easy to reach thanks to the convenient road and railway links, but also to Pisa “Galilei International Airport”.

Come visit us if you want to live an experience like this! Welcome to the TERRE DI PISA !!!
