Truffle Season around San Miniato: Corazzano market fair

The white truffle, before the main event in San Miniato during the last three weekends in November, is celebrated during the so-called “Truffle Season“, the programme of five festivals in some of the municipality’s hamlets, which will start after the opening of the truffle hunting season – mid September

On 3rd and 4th October it is the turn of the 40th “White Truffle Market Fair” in Corazzano

The event kicks off on Saturday at 5.30 pm with the opening of the photography exhibition “100 Years of the Club”, followed at 7.30 pm by a truffle dinner.

On Sunday, the day will kick off at 9.30 am with “Saracinesche ad Arte”, an urban regeneration and street art project curated by Filippo Lotti; from 10.00 am, the stalls selling local specialities, truffles and handicrafts will open. In the afternoon, at 3.30 pm, there will be a demonstration of truffle hunting with the help of dogs, and from 5.30 pm, live music.
