Tripe feast | Volterra

Every Volterra resident cannot miss the traditional tripe breakfast on Workers’ Day, one of the most heartfelt events involving the elderly and children.

The originality of this party is that it starts at 8 a.m.!

According to tradition, the Alabastrian artisans used to have breakfast with tripe: from 8 a.m. onwards, therefore, tripe alla volterrana for everyone, as well as pods, pecorino cheese, shoulder and local red wine, which will be available for tasting at Arci clubs and some restaurants.
