Theatre Festival, Popular Drama | San Miniato

This year, for the sacred scene in Piazza Duomo, it is Luca Zingaretti’s turn to read Andrea Camilleri’s “Self-defence of Cain”. Premiere from 24 to 26 July at 9.30 pm

This is the oldest production festival in Italy, a unicum in the Italian and European theatre scene. The texts that have been performed over all these years belong to the dramaturgy of the “Theatre of the Spirit”, aimed at the search for the meaning and significance of life. Not a confessional theatre, but a popular drama.
