September in Perignano | Fair and Palio of Santa Lucia

At the beginning of September (1-3), Perignano celebrates the traditional fair in Piazza Vittorio Veneto and Via Matteotti preceded by two days of fun with street food, music, an antiques and crafts market, and an amusement park

. This is followed on 13 and 14 September by the 40th edition of the Palio di Santa Lucia with parades of contrade and mini-palio.

On 20 September, the Palio della Bilancia, now in its 39th edition, sees six contrade battling it out to win the coveted “Cencio”: Casaccia, Castello, Quattro Strade, Fagiolaia, Spinelli, Pari, Tomaiola and Tre Vie
