Cascina AD 1364 : Waiting for the Battle

For two days, Cascina goes back to the year 1364, reliving the medieval atmosphere with knights, ladies, jesters, musicians, dances, and flag-wavers. The historic centre, already evocative thanks to its many arcades, the Civic Tower, and the palaces, becomes the backdrop of sets and scenes that take the visitors back in time.

A historical procession of more than 200 costumed participants parades along the streets of the centre, where refreshment points are set up with medieval dishes, a medieval market, juggling shows, games of flags, and duels.
