The “ficattola” food festival Bientina

The traditional festival, now in its 31st year, organised by the Contrada Quattro Strade, which participates in the Palio di San Valentino, returns for three weekends.

The festival takes place at the Parco delle Sughere, with food stands opening from 7.30 p.m. onwards. Every evening a musical show
The ‘ficattola‘ is nothing more than a type of flour-based pasta, fried in hot oil, to be eaten plain or stuffed with cold cuts or other specialities.
