“Spatiamentum”: Summer evening walking tours around Calci

“Spatiamentum” has for 12 years been the evening walks to discover Calci and its surroundings, every Monday evening in July. The term was taken from the tradition of the Carthusian monks (it is not by chance that the splendid Charterhouse is located here) and meant the evening outing in the cloister, two by two, changing partners every half hour or so, so as to get to know each other. 1 July “Pizza tonight?” Azienda Agricola Francesco Elter, Pizzeria Zio Tony, Birrante. An evening with pizza, beer, antipasto, dessert, all dressed with Calci olive oil, at the Azienda Agricola Francesco Elter, at 8 pm. For info on menu, price and booking 3296764814 Francesco.

8 July “Villa Scorzi, its garden and oratory” visit to Villa Scorzi. Meeting and departure in front of the Pieve di Calci at 21.00.
15 July “from Certosa to San Lorenzo” walk from Certosa to San Lorenzo, where we will visit the church. Meeting point and departure at 21.00 in front of the Certosa.
22 July “Castelmaggiore” we visit a room of the Della Chiostra family palace and the village of Castelmaggiore, on the 80th anniversary of its bombing, 22 July 1944. Meeting and departure at 21.00 in front of the Pieve di Calci to go up together by car. or at 21.15 directly in Piazza Verdi in Castelmaggiore.
