The “Scuola Normale” Concert Season | Pisa

The Concerti della Normale, now in their 57th edition, represent a combined journey through different eras and musical styles, instrumental interpretations and compositional genres. As per tradition, the festival opens on 18 October, the anniversary of the founding decree of the Scuola Normale Superiore, with a concert by the Scuola Normale Superiore.

The concerts take place at the Teatro Verdi at 9.00 p.m.

Classical music became part of the Scuola Normale over fifty years ago, when apart from a few exceptions, the presence of music in universities was practically unheard of in Italy. The Scuola Normale Concerts offer a programme combining music of different periods and representative of different styles, interpretations and genres.
