Nativity Scene in Montefoscoli

From 8 December to 6 January, Montefoscoli transforms into the village of nativity scenes, with an exhibition and competition of nativity scenes along the streets of the village.

On 6 January, from 3.30 pm to 7 pm, the Museum of Rural Life will once again host living nativity scenes, seen through the eyes of famous artists, which will amaze visitors with their originality.

The Museum of Rural Life
It is housed in the cellars of the Vaccà Berlinghieri House Museum and displays numerous tools providing an important picture of post-medieval “archaeology of rural activities”. The objects on display retrace the salient features of the events in which the leading members of the Berlinghieri family took part, through their personal relationships with many important figures of political and cultural life.
