New exhibition from 14 March to 19 April by Croatian artist Ana Kolega, entitled: “WE DREAMED OF AN ISLAND, AND ON THE ISLAND, A HOUSE”. Opening: 14 March at 6.30 p.m. – Free admission
The works feature poetic and intimate scenes inspired by life on an island and the universal themes of love, memory and desire.
Between houses overlooking the sea, distant boats and starry skies, her paintings evoke Mediterranean atmospheres suspended between dream and nostalgia. At the centre often appear figures of lovers, enclosed in a protected, almost unreal emotional space, a symbol of refuge and belonging.

The Coccapani Ceramics Museum introduces visitors to the art of ceramics through presentations of production and decoration techniques, tools and instruments. Through educational workshops for schoolchildren, it transforms the visit into a journey of discovery and growth, helping visitors to understand the relationships between objects, the territory and its people. Like the navicellai who, in the 16th century, transported various types of goods on their boats (navicelli). The navicello was small and flat with rounded sides and could carry loads of up to 25 tonnes. Later, the navicellai began to expand their activities to include fishing, using a conical net called a giacchio, which allowed them to catch considerable quantities of fish that they then sold.
