Eurobirdwatch | Terre di Pisa

Eurobirdwatch is an event organised by BirdLife International and its partner organisations to observe the fascinating spectacle of migration.

This event has been held throughout Europe for more than 20 years on the first weekend in October. Passionate ornithologists are on hand at observation and information points to welcome visitors and help them identify the many passing species.

The birdwatching excursions, which are open to the public, will be held in the nation’s managed oases and reserves and in other naturalistic areas particular for the presence of wild birds, such as wetlands, rivers, coastal areas or forests.
In the Lands of Pisa the activities are generally held in the San Rossore Park and at the Regional Reserve of Lake Santa Luce
