Dinner before the palio of Buti

The Palio di Buti on 18 January 2026 will be preceded on Saturday 17 January by a walking dinner through the districts of Buti to taste traditional dishes while awaiting the palio.

In Piazza Garibaldi, typical local flavours such as bruschetta with new oil, wild boar, tripe alla butese, peposo with beans, maccheroni alla castellana and, to finish, frati (see menu in the poster opposite) will be served.

To ensure the availability of vouchers (given the large turnout in previous years), a “purchase limit” will be applied to each individual dish during the pre-sale.
If this limit is exceeded, the pre-sale will close early for the dish that has “reached the limit”. During the pre-sale, it will be possible to purchase a maximum of 8 vouchers for each dish.
