Preview of the festival on 11 July at the Castello dei Vicari in Lari the show “Dream of a summer night” by William Shakespeare.
From 13 to 16 July the section dedicated to “Sound”, an annual platform for meeting and sharing on the negative effects of noise as opposed to the positive ones of sound.
There is a rich program of shows with national-level artists, to which is added the cycle of free meetings with scientists and researchers from all over the world. To conclude the round table “Noise. How to defend yourself from the second pollutant in the world” with the participation of the scientists guests at the Festival.
It will be possible to participate in the “Foley Room” workshop on noises and special effects for films and in the experience of the “Navicella Sonora”, an immersive and interactive sound virtual reality audio installation.
From 18 to 24 July the multidisciplinary section of theatre, music and dance. An exceptional event is the national premiere in Lari (July 28-29) of “Turandot – Ombra della Luce”, a multidisciplinary and contemporary reinterpretation of the famous Puccini opera which sees on stage the Orchestra of the Goldoni Theater of Livorno, a band rock and the Tuscan opera choir (40 professional singers and 11 actors) to which is added a city choir of 25 people, made up mostly of local people of all ages, as well as actors and students from a creative laboratory. All engaged in the first ubiquitous show experience.
The structure of the show sees the contamination between opera, experimental pop music, theatre, video, sound and dance, using the applied technology of the Connessioni© tool, through which the event takes place simultaneously in two places in the village of Lari and can be enjoyed by viewers thanks to immersive video and sound. An innovative technological infrastructure that makes the event and the venue that hosts it unique on the international entertainment scene
