Openings and activities at the Civic Museums of San Miniato

The civic museum system of San Miniato comprises four sites: Rocca di Federico II, Museo del Palazzo Comunale, Museo della Memoria, Museo della Scrittura. The San Genesio Archaeological Area is currently closed. From the magic of the Tower of Frederick at night to guided food and wine tours, in summer the San Miniato Civic Museums welcome residents and tourists with special events and promotions.

Sunday 16 and Saturday 29 July ‘Yoga in Rocca’ at 7.15 p.m., the unique experience of an open-air yoga class under the Tower of Frederick II, on the lawn outside, equipped with a mat for practising on the grass and a cushion to sit on or a beach towel, comfortable clothing. See poster opposite

Wednesday 5 July at 9.30 p.m. “Concert for Peace” at the Loggiati di San Domenico. For the occasion, the Museo della Memoria is organising an extraordinary evening opening from 9 p.m. with last admission at 11 p.m.
