Cene Galeotte – Convict dinners in Gaol | Volterra

Galeotte dinners are back at the Volterra Prison. A unique initiative of its kind that makes the Volterra prison a place of integration through a calendar of dinners open to the public and created by inmates with the support of professional chefs. The initiative, the first example of its kind at a national level, has since 2005 offered the inmates involved a vocational training course in the catering sector to encourage their reintegration into the world of work once their sentences are over.
