The 24th edition of the Cigoli artistic nativity scene will be on display from 7 December 2025 to 11 January 2026 at the ‘Madre dei Bimbi’ Sanctuary in Cigoli, San Miniato

The largest sensory nativity scene in Tuscany
The artistic nativity scene in Cigoli combines extreme attention to detail with high technology in a “Palestinian-style” landscape, so much so that it has been described as the largest technological nativity scene in Tuscany.

A journey through the most significant places in the life of Jesus
At the beginning of the journey, visitors encounter scenes of crafts from the period, all in motion, before entering Bethlehem, rich in scenes of daily life and small artisan workshops, where they can admire the shepherds’ cave and catch a glimpse of the stable.
Next comes Jerusalem, where the temple with the Holy of Holies dominates the highest point, before approaching the desert with Bedouin tents and camel caravans. On the other side is the stable with the Nativity, which stands out for the size of its statues.

The display covers approximately 100 square metres and recreates the atmosphere of the Holy Land 2000 years ago. Visitors become pilgrims along the path traced by the Lord, where they can find a series of spectacular artistic and mechanical representations associated with highly evocative lighting, sound, olfactory and scenographic effects.
