Villa Pacchiani, Via Francesca Sud, 67, Santa Croce sull'Arno
Until 15 February 2026, the exhibition “Ursa Major” will be on display in Santa Croce sull’Arno, in the rooms of Villa Pacchiani. Ursa Major is a constellation, a system of bright points that, although distant from each other, form a recognisable pattern. It is precisely this image that inspires the exhibition, offering a mapping of contemporary art through seven solo shows which, like stars, together form a meaningful figure, a possible orientation in the complexity of the present.
Seven artists are involved: Camilla Alberti, Stefano Arienti, Maria Crispal, Carlo and Fabio Ingrassia, Gabriele Picco, Giuseppe Stampone and Vedovamazzei, heterogeneous and diverse voices, but which together construct a choral dialogue, made up of references, assonances and connections.
Villa Pacchiani, a former private residence along the Arno River, has three floors and is surrounded by a garden. The Exhibition Centre occupies the first floor, while the second floor hosts expressive activities. The ground floor is the Multipurpose Centre and is used for seminars, meetings, small artistic residencies and temporary events organised by associations or other local organisations.
