Chestnut festival | Buti

Buti recalls its link with its past through the chestnut festival that has been held for 46 years on three weekends in October.

Food stands are set up indoors at Danielli Park where local producers present the best dishes of Buti’s cuisine based on chestnuts: roasted chestnuts, neccini, fritters and castagnaccio

It is tradition that inspires this festival: chestnut harvesting, as well as the processing of tree wood, has always been linked to the history of Buti on the slopes of Monte Pisano.
