Chestnut festival | Buti

Buti recalls its link with its past through the chestnut festival that has been held for 49 years on three weekends in October:
10-11th, 17-18th and 24-25th.
Sunday from 12.30am and on Saturday from 7.30pm

Food stands are set up indoors at Danielli Park where local producers present the best dishes of Buti’s cuisine based on chestnuts: roasted chestnuts, neccini, fritters and castagnaccio

It is tradition that inspires this festival: chestnut harvesting, as well as the processing of tree wood, has always been linked to the history of Buti on the slopes of Monte Pisano.
