The Museum is one of the most important public collections of contemporary graphics, able to present to scholars, students and enthusiasts an artistic landscape of excellent level that sheds light, through the great intellectual lesson of figures such as Sebastiano Timpanaro, Carlo Ludovico Ragghianti and Giulio Carlo Argan, on the artistic events that have covered the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

With its permanent collections and a wide range of temporary exhibitions, the Museo della Grafica is today an avant-garde center for the knowledge and study of contemporary art.

Housed in the old beautiful rooms of Palazzo Lanfranchi, the Museum of Graphics was created as a partnership between the City of Pisa and the University of Pisa to present the city with an original and highly suggestive structure that integrates, at levels of excellence, the city’s museum system.

Free admittance on the first Sunday of the month.

It is part of the Museum System of the University of Pisa
