Golf Club Tirrenia
The Tirrenia Golf Club, on the Pisan coast between the centuries-old pine forest and the Mediterranean scrub, boasts a 9-hole course, designed in 1967 by the English architect Ken Cotton, offers golfers one of the most harmonious and stimulating courses on an international level.
The Golf Club area, 85 hectares, is equipped with signs and illustrative panels. It is presented as a naturalistic “laboratory”, with activities both of environmental education and of environmental interpretation, arousing emotions and sensations in children and adults alike. Guided tours, open to all, are by reservation and are organized by specialized personnel. The nature trail is also accessible to people with disabilities.
