The Gran Fondo, now in its 26th edition, takes place on April 12, 2026.
The race is part of the “Inbici Top Challenge” circuit and the “Coppa Toscana on the road” calendar.
Three routes: Light – 41.4 km, Classic – 70,8 km, Marathon – 120 km, starting from Pomarance and passing through Larderello, Sasso Pisano, Castelnuovo Valdicecina, and Radicondoli.
The Light route crosses the roads of the Metalliferous Hills at a slower pace, winding its way in the first part towards San Dalmazio, then climbing up to Castelnuovo Val di Cecina and returning to Pomarance. There are two timed sections: “Salisburgo” from km 8 to km 13 and “Best Climber” from km 23 to km 25.
The Classic route also heads south but veers towards Montecastelli Pisano and Monteguidi. Descending to Radicondoli, the route crosses the woods, pushing towards Castelnuovo Val di Cecina and Sasso Pisano. Climbing back up towards Pomarance, it passes through Larderello and Montecerboli. There are two timed sections: “Salzburg” and “Stuttgart.”
