The salt train: steam train to discover the Salt Mine in Saline di Volterra

On Sunday, 2 November, ‘Il Treno del Sale’ (The Salt Train) returns, the historic steam train that departs from Pisa, stopping at Livorno and Cecina, to discover the salt pans at the Saline di Volterra station.

9:15 a.m. Participants meet at Pisa Central Station, where they will be greeted by Ferrovie Turistiche Italiane staff who will assist them in boarding the train.
