Racecourse season in the San Rossore Park | Pisa

At the Hippodrome of San Rossore, the galloping season lasts from the end of October to April and takes place on Thursdays (excluded on 4/12) and Sundays.

The galloping season takes place at the San Rossore racecourse, the only one in Italy in a natural park. The maximum capacity this year is 5,000 spectators.

The calendar of the autumn season includes the traditional appointments, i.e. the Grand Prix such as ‘Goldoni’, ‘Rosenberg’, ‘Criterium di Pisa’, ‘Andred’. The calendar also includes new events such as the Tower of Pisa Cup, Listed Race for Arabian Thoroughbreds and the ‘Moutai Cup’. Finally, the 6 obstacle races, scheduled on two days in December, a prelude to the jumping season in January and February. The season ends with the classic Premio Pisa in April.
