The 43rd edition of the Sagra delle Pallette ai Funghi takes place in Madonna dell’Acqua (between Pisa and Viareggio) over two consecutive weekends, from Friday to Sunday on 17–18–19 and 24–25–26 July.
The food stalls are set in Via Murella on the grounds of the Parish of SS Redentore.
The bar and kitchen are open from 7.00 pm.
The name ‘pallette’ is a Pisan expression: in Tuscany they are called ‘matuffi’; they are simply layers of polenta and sauce.
A dish from the peasant cuisine, but truly delicious. As well as pallette, there will be grilled meat, traditional desserts and more.
