Pontedera is preparing to celebrate the Christmas holidays with a rich programme of shows and events for adults and children.
From 11 November to 7 December, Natale in Opera (Christmas at the Opera) kicks off: a journey through art and wonder, with works by Giuliano Tomaino, sculptures by Marcello Scarselli and a tribute to Pinocchio. The atrium of Palazzo Stefanelli, the town hall, Piazza Cavour and roundabouts are just some of the locations hosting the works of artist Giuliano Tomaino in the prelude to Natale in Opera.
This is the first phase of “Equilibrio in Gioco” (Balance at Play), which, from 8 December onwards, will bring all the artist’s creations to the town centre, during Christmas time.
Saturday, December 20th at 9:00 PM at the Teatro Era, the 15th Christmas Concert will celebrate the 190th anniversary of the Filarmonica “Volere è Potere” and its partnership with the Banda Simfònica de Roquetes-Nou Barris of Barcelona.
