Podere La Chiesa

Podere La Chiesa is situated in the Pisan hills 30 km south-east of Pisa along the road to Volterra, on the top of a small hill (125 metres above sea level), just before the village of Casanova. The Podere is in an ideal, unique position, open on the four cardinal points, caressed by a breeze coming from the Tyrrhenian Sea that provides relief from the summer heat and takes care of its vineyards. Under the passionate guidance of Maurizio and Palma, Podere La Chiesa produces quality wines, mainly with Sangiovese grapes, an expression of the territory of origin, practising a rigorous natural viticulture. The new winery is a work of modern architecture integrated into the splendid Casanova valley, a natural amphitheatre completely dedicated to the cultivation of vines. The welcoming structure is open to visitors who enjoy the pleasure of tasting wine in a warm and hospitable environment, immersed in the splendid Tuscan countryside. The winery hosts art presentations and cultural and musical events throughout the year.
