Ingredients for 4 people
8 slices of day-old country bread
extra-virgin olive oil
garlic
salt and black pepper
Method
Toast the slices of day-old bread until lightly toasted. Rub both sides of the toast with a clove of garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
Drizzle generously with oil, better still if new extra-virgin olive oil, of course! Enjoy hot.
