Truffle Festival in San Miniato Basso

The San Miniato Basso Truffle Festival, now in its 17th edition, precedes the highlight of the San Miniato National Market Exhibition by one week. It takes place on 8th November in the Cultural Centre in Via Pizzigoni, as it does for “Pinocchio Ciok” and the masked Carnival parades.

There are many events scheduled from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm: creative workshops for children, Mastro Geppetto’s workshop with wooden objects. Throughout the day, there will be a market exhibition of typical local products and local businesses. You can purchase the white truffles from the San Miniato hills at the stands or taste them in the dining area (reservations at 338 6805604). From 12:00 pm, you can enjoy delicious traditional Tuscan dishes and specialities made with white truffles.
