Truffle Season around San Miniato

The San Miniato Basso Truffle Festival, now in its sixteenth edition, takes place a week before the highlight of the San Miniato National Market Exhibition. It is held on 9 November in the Cultural Centre to celebrate the region’s specialities, as with “Pinocchio Ciok” and the masked Carnival parades.

Guided tours, mycological exhibitions, workshops for adults and children, special markets and craft fairs, painting exhibitions and cooking shows. In addition, of course, to the king of the table: the white truffle.
