“Un Museo SensAzionale” are meetings with activities for children and families at the Museo Civico di Montopoli: dedicated to sensory exploration through the museum’s works and new tactile models. The activities will take place monthly from March to May.
On Sunday 16 April at 4.30 p.m., the second of three meetings dedicated to sensory exploration through the works: the protagonists of the event will be sight and hearing. The activity will allow children to experiment and play with sensory exploration through listening to the works.

This will be followed by the “Insiem@museo” initiative, a cycle of three meetings aimed at children and young people with autism spectrum disorders. Three places will be involved, starting on Sunday 23 April with a workshop entitled “Strange Creatures and Where to Find Them” at the Museo Civico di Montopoli.

This will be followed by two other appointments at the Antiquarium of Marti (28 May) and finally a walk to discover the landscape surrounding Montopoli (11 June). Participation is free of charge. Located in Palazzo Guicciardini, the Civic Museum documents the history and culture of the territory. The five rooms on the ground floor are divided into two sections: the archaeology section includes the Baldovinetti-Mainoni and Falchi collections with interesting Etruscan and Roman finds, as well as Medieval and Renaissance exhibits.
