The “Mostra mercato del tartufo marzuolo e dei prodotti tipici” is back, an appointment that for eleven years has inaugurated the “spring of taste” in Volterra: a weekend to be experienced amidst the flavours of the Alta Val di Cecina, music, creative handicrafts, and initiatives for adults and children.
On Sunday, the Jarro Giovani Prize will be awarded to the three young professionals celebrated by the prestigious Forbes magazine as Tuscany’s most influential figures in the “Food Marketing” sector.
The heart of the event will be the Logge del Palazzo Pretorio in Piazza de’ Priori, where it will be possible to get to know and purchase the best of the local bread basket specialities – in addition to truffles, also cheeses, oil, wine, beer, cured meats, sweets – told directly by the producers. This will be flanked along Via Gramsci by the women’s creativity market, with live crafts.
