Pontedera celebrates the 80th anniversary of the Vespa with a major national gathering on 25-26th April, called ‘80 voglia di… Vespa’ (80 years of Vespa).

The 2026 edition takes on symbolic value, marking the start of celebrations for the 80th anniversary of the Vespa, which was launched in 1946 and has become an international icon, an expression of Italian style, innovation and identity. Pontedera is the city where the history of the Vespa took shape and is therefore the ideal setting to pay tribute to it.
