This Carnival includes five parades with floats and a colourful train decorated with popular cartoon and film characters. Plenty of sweets and cakes made by the town’s nonnas on sale at the stalls. The Carnival ends Mardi Gras when Gigi – a three-metre high papier mache and straw puppet – is set on fire.
