Summer in Montecatini Val di Cecina

The rich programme of the charming village of Montecatini Val di Cecina, home of the former copper mine of Camporciano, now the Museum of Mining (in the 19th century the most important in Europe) includes guided tours and dinners in the mine with an aperitif, guided tours of the village dominated by the imposing medieval Tower Belforti , the “Art and Music” event at the Querceto Castle (International Piano Festival, Voltango, VinOpera), and a “dinner dressed in white” in the small village of La Sassa (reservation required). Closing 8-9 September with a two-day event dedicated to the Festa della Madonna and the Montecatini Fair.

On 21st August, “Borgo Incantando” will be held: from 6 p.m. to midnight, performances by street artists, a travelling dinner and music with free admission.
