Summer in Montecatini Val di Cecina

A traditional summer calendar of events in Montecatini Val di Cecina, home to the former Camporciano copper mine, now the Mining Museum, the most important in Europe in the 19th century.

On 25 August, “Borgo Incantando”, the festival of street artists, takes place. From 6 p.m. to midnight, the charming medieval village comes alive with street artists who involve the public with fire shows: fakirs, dancers, storytellers, jugglers, acrobats and clowns create suggestive, intriguing and captivating atmospheres.
