Summer events in Calcinaia

The 24th summer edition of “Chiare, fresche… e dolci sere” (Clear, cool… and sweet evenings) includes a rich programme that ranges from classical to contemporary and pop music, from theatre to musical comedies and takes place in various locations in Calcinaia and its hamlets. Noteworthy are the appointments of the Festival Sete Sòis Sete Luas with the presence of international artists.

It starts on Saturday 1 July at 4.00 pm with ‘Calcinaia and the Arno: the story of two lovers’, a free guided tour from Piazza Indipendenza to discover the historic centre. Wednesday 5 at 9.30 p.m. in Piazza Indipendenza the folk songs of the group Il Bruscello, Thursday 6 July a theatrical performance with Andrea Kaemmerle at the Bicycle Museum in Fornacette, and so on throughout the summer.
