Sete Sois Sete Luas Festival | Pontedera and Calcinaia

Sete Sóis Sete Luas Festival: the 34th edition in Pontedera, featuring music, culture and gastronomy with free and performances on reservation.

On Sunday 31 May at 7.00 pm, the Festival stage welcomes El Cachivache Quinteto, one of the best-known contemporary tango groups on the international scene. Their style — described as ‘Tango Punk’ — blends the tradition of Argentine tango with rock, modern sounds and electrifying performances.
After touring over 50 countries and playing more than 1,000 concerts worldwide, they arrive in Pontedera for a special evening of music, culture and flavours.

To mark the Festival, Pontedera welcomes artists from the Mediterranean and Latin worlds with national premieres. The events will take place at various venues across the city: Centrum Sete Sóis Sete Luas, Battello Andrea da Pontedera, Parco Fluviale de La Rotta, Montecastello, Treggiaia. In addition to the concerts and shows, visitors will be able to take part in tasting dinners featuring typical dishes from the cultures represented.
