September in San Giuliano Terme

‘Settembre Sangiulianese’ is San Giuliano Terme’s traditional cultural and entertainment festival, bringing together musical performances, artistic events and entertainment.

A preview takes place on 29 August with the 12th edition of Enigmando, a puzzle festival featuring a competition dedicated to Marin Faliero – the pseudonym of Marino Dinucci, a historic local chemist who for years made San Giuliano Terme the capital of puzzles

On Tuesday 1 September at 9.00 pm, at the Parco della Pace, Fiorella Mannoia will open the celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of the town’s foundation with a concert dedicated to the songs of Fabrizio De André and Ivano Fossati – an event that is free and open to all. Free entry, no booking required, subject to availability.

On Wednesday 9 September at 9.00 pm, at the Parterre, Caterina Guzzanti will perform ‘Secondo lei’, a show about fragility – a long, intimate and delicate stream of feminine thought. On Friday 11 September at 9.30 pm, at the Parco della Pace in Pontasserchio, the Pink Floyd Symphony will perform a concert for peace. This orchestra, comprising around fifty musicians and two solo vocalists, will bring the best of the historic London band’s repertoire to the stage.
