“Sabatini Cup” Bike Race | Peccioli

The Coppa Sabatini, now in its 73rd edition, is a men’s road cycling road race, held in Peccioli , every year in October. It is part of the UCI Europe Tour calendar, class 1.1.

The race has been run since 1952, when the sportsmen of the town of Peccioli wanted to dedicate the race to the memory of Giuseppe Sabatini, a rider from Peccioli who had a brilliant career between the years 1933 and 1947, the year in which he died prematurely at the age of 36.

Start in Piazza del Carmine and finish in Piazza del Popolo
