Orto Botanico di Pisa, Via Luca Ghini, 5, Pisa
The University Museum System (SMA) of the University of Pisa has prepared a special event: “Piante da Paura!” (Plants to Fear!), a guided tour followed by a creative workshop for curious, courageous children who love stories. Start at 3.30 pm
Put on your Halloween costume and get ready to explore a side of the Botanical Garden and Museum that you have never seen before. An Afternoon Among Thorns and Poison will take you to discover the botanical and historical collections from an unusual and fascinating perspective. Imagine:
Thorns capable of tearing apart…, Powerful and hidden poisons…, Decidedly nauseating smells…, Corrosive liquids and destructive pine cones! A real journey through the oddities that make some of our plants “monstrous” and absolutely fascinating creatures.
