Free visits to the Domus Mazziniana – Pisa

17/09/2024 ore: 16:30 - 18:30

Domus Mazziniana, Via D'azeglio, Pisa

The Domus Mazziniana is the heir to the Rosselli-Nathan House where Giuseppe Mazzini died on 10 March 1872. The House – proclaimed a National Monument in 1910 – was completely razed to the ground on 31 August 1943. From its ruins came the Domus Mazziniana, included in 2002 in the network of Historical Institutes of National Interest and in 2009 the committee of guarantors for the celebrations of the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy identified it as one of the ‘places of memory’ linked to ‘fundamental moments in national history’.
Free visit on Sunday 10 March on the occasion of the 152nd anniversary of Giacomo Mazzini’s death
