Fifth edition of the two-days cycling event in Ponte a Egola during Easter: 44 categories, 10 races, 1,000 athletes and 5,000 people expected in San Miniato for the two-days Easter cycling event in the industrial area around San Miniato.

Ponte a Egola is one of the most important centers in the world for the production of leather and leather processing. The birth of the tanneries dates back to the mid-nineteenth century, thanks to the abundance of water in the area. Since then, the tanning activity has developed steadily until the boom of the 1950s. It is located near San Miniato, in the Lower Valdarno, along the Strada statale 67 Tosco Romagnola. The hamlet is crossed by the Egola river, from which it takes its name, near its confluence with the Arno.
