The ViviParco 2026 environmental and cultural festival, held at the start of summer, brings the Park to life with special events stretching from Viareggio to San Rossore, inviting visitors to discover these places through the relationship between human creativity and the beauty of nature. Vasco Brondi, Mario Tozzi alongside Enrico Favata, Yitong Wang and Atos Davini are just some of the figures who will be bringing July to life across the gardens of Villa Giraffa, the Buca del Mare and Villa del Gombo.
Viviparco begins on Tuesday 7 July in the garden of Villa Giraffa with Vasco Brondi in ‘La musica degli alberi quando non c’è vento’ (The Music of the Trees When There Is No Wind); from 9 pm, talks and music with the singer-songwriter. At the same time, the ‘Bestiario Esistenziale’ exhibition opens at Villa Giraffa.
Friday 24 July at 9.00 pm: ‘Il canto del bosco’ (The Song of the Forest), music dedicated to nature ranging from Vivaldi to Yoshimatsu, via Borne and Piazzolla
Tuesday 28 July at 6.30 pm: ‘Di giardini, illusioni verdi e speranze’ (Of Gardens, Green Illusions and Hopes), a book launch.
Thursday 30 July at 6.30 pm: ‘Al lupo al lupo’ on the situation in the Park and the importance of proper management of the species.
Friday 31 July at sunset at Villa del Gombo with Mario Tozzi and Enrico Favata in ‘Geografie mistiche’, a performance combining words and music that explores the physical and tangible origins of myths, magic and miracles linked to the local area. Starts at 7 pm; transport from Cascine Vecchie from 6 pm.
