The second edition of the ‘Nativity Scene Treasure Hunt’ returns to Bientina, transforming the small town into a widespread journey of creativity and tradition. Each registered nativity scene becomes a stop on the trail, helping to build a map that visitors can follow during the holidays. The nativity scene must be displayed in a place visible to the public from 5 December 2025 to 6 January 2026.
As far as nativity scene is concerned, there will be a live nativity scene on 28 December and 6 January in the Parish of Santa Colomba.

Bientina is a small town that was once bordered by Lake Bientina, the largest lake in Tuscany, before it was drained during the reign of Cosimo I. The reclamation allowed land to be reclaimed for agriculture and changed the landscape and economy of the area, transforming the inhabitants from fishermen to farmers. The drainage also brought to light the remains of some Etruscan and Roman buildings; the recovered finds are preserved in the Museum of Ancient History of the area.
