Museo Kienerk, Piazza Trento e Trieste, Fauglia
The Kienerk Museum, housed in the former courthouse, displays a collection of paintings, sculptures, bas-reliefs and drawings by Giorgio Kienerk, comprising over 130 pieces donated by his daughter Vittoria to the local council. The artist, a pupil of the Macchiaioli painters Cecioni and Signorini, had a long-standing connection with Fauglia, having spent much time with his wife and daughter at the family villa in Poggio alla Farnia.
Wednesday 1 April at 5.00 pm: Children’s session at the Library featuring lovely stories and an Easter-themed workshop; booking is required by emailing: biblioteca@comune.fauglia.pi.it
During the summer, the museum offers exhibitions and special opening hours
