Italian Heritage (FAI) Open Days | Terre di Pisa

The FAI festival dedicated to Italian cultural and landscape heritage returns on the first weekend of spring. Visitors can take part in tours – for a voluntary contribution – offered by FAI volunteers in over 700 often inaccessible, little-known locations in 400 cities.

THE STATE ARCHIVES OPEN THEIR DOORS –
Address: Lungarno Mediceo, 30
Opening hours: Saturday: 10:00 – 13:00 and 14:00 – 18:00 (last admission 17:30)
Notes: Tours every 20 minutes for groups of 20 visitors. The last tour in the morning is at 12:30.

Notes for visitors: The FAI desk is located at the side entrance of the State Archives in Via delle Belle Torri.
Sustainable Mobility Notes: The site is easily accessible on foot or by bus from the central station.

IN SAN FRANCESCO: MEDIEVAL CHURCHES AND 19TH-CENTURY PALACES –
Address: Via Cavour 
Opening hours: Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (last admission at 5:30 p.m.)
Notes: Tours will be every 30 minutes. The last morning tour is at 12:30 p.m. During the morning tours, visitors can access the Church of Sant’Andrea, while in the afternoon they can visit the Church of San Pietro in Vinculis.
Notes for visitors: The FAI desk and the start of the tour will be in front of the Church of San Pietro in Vinculis.
