The Italian Heritage Fund (FAI) two-day event in October that opens the doors of little known monuments or sites that are generally closed to the public. Over the years, this FAI initiative has contributed to underline the importance of Italy’s national heritage, giving access to churches, villas, gardens and archaeological sites to crowds of interested visitors. Authentic treasures made accessible thanks to voluntary workers and guides. A weekend of visits and extraordinary openings in over 250 Italian locations.
