110 Hertz Festival in the Villa Medicea of Coltano | Pisa

Four days of events from 18 to 21 June in the grounds of the Villa Medicea di Coltano for the 110 Hertz Festival, which for the past six years has been celebrating Guglielmo Marconi and the first transoceanic radio transmission he made 115 years ago from Coltano.

Live concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions, street art, nature walks, a craft market and workshops.

The Coltano Estate is in the Migliarino, San Rossore and Massaciuccoli Park and covers a vast expanse of flat land, originally a vast marsh that stretched almost until Pisa. There are significant archaeological finds of human settlements dating back to both prehistoric and Roman times. At the heart of the estate is the Villa Medicea, the starting point for exploring the park’s natural, historical and environmental features.
