Free visits at the Castle of Buti

The Castle opens its doors to the public every Sunday in March and April: a special opportunity to discover one of the most evocative places in our region.
Open every Sunday in March and April, except Sunday 5 April (Easter Sunday). Open on Monday 6 April (Easter Monday). Visiting hours: 5.00 pm – 7.00 pm
The castle’s halls will also host the painting exhibition “Essere donna” by artists Chantal Grignard and Séverine Mertens, curated by the Sete Sois Sete Luas Festival.

Three areas inside: an immersive room, where you can experience the history of the village through sounds, images and atmospheres of times gone by. A floor dedicated to the artists and illustrious figures of Buti, protagonists of the local identity. Three multimedia rooms that tell the story of: Il Maggio Butese, the ancient popular theatrical tradition; Il Palio di Buti, a race between districts and passion; extra virgin olive oil, the excellence of the territory.
