Free visits at the Castle of Buti

Discover Buti Castle: history, excitement and breathtaking views – free admission! In the village of Buti, nestled among hills, tradition and the scent of olive trees, a journey within the castle walls awaits you.

Free visits on Wednesdays: 4.30pm – 7.30pm, Saturdays: 4pm – 9pm, Sundays: 4pm – 8pm

Three areas inside:

An immersive room, where you can experience the history of the village through sounds, images and atmospheres of times gone by.

A floor dedicated to the artists and illustrious figures of Buti, protagonists of the local identity.

Three multimedia rooms that tell the story of: Il Maggio Butese, the ancient popular theatrical tradition; Il Palio di Buti, a race between districts and passion; extra virgin olive oil, the excellence of the territory.

And that’s not all: you can climb the castle’s panoramic tower and enjoy a breathtaking view of Buti and the valley. Bring your camera (or at least your smartphone)!
